Q: How does Resume Spark work?

Getting started with Resume Spark is quick and easy.  First, you fill out our Resume Request Form to provide us with your basic information, existing resume, and design preferences. Then, one of our Resume Design Specialists will reach out to you to have a brief 10-15 minute conversions to discuss your custom resume design.  Within five business days, we’ll will provide you with an initial draft of your custom resume and from there we’ll make any revisions as necessary.

Q: Once I am satisfied with my resume design, how do I pay?

Once your resume design is completed and approved by you, we will send you a payment request via PayPal or Venmo, depending on your payment preference.  Once the payment has been processed, we will provide you with your final resume files via email.

Q: If I am not satisfied with the finished product, am I allowed any revisions?

Absolutely! At Resume Spark, we want to ensure that you’re left with a resume that you love.  That’s why we allow as many revisions as it takes until your satisfaction is met. You Resume Design Specialist will work closely with you to ensure 

Q: What are the benefits of having a customized resume?

We believe a customized resume allows you to stand out from the crowd and attract the attention of your potential employers, more-so than your typical black and white resume! It’s no secret that top job openings attract the attention of a multitude of prospective employers; this makes it easy for your resume to get “lost in the stack”. Resume Spark will help to give your resume the edge it needs to be noticed over the competition.

Q: What format will my customized resume be sent to me in?

Your resume will be provided to you in PDF format.

Q: Can I edit my resume once it’s been sent to me?

If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, you will be able to edit the text of your custom resume.  However, the design elements of the resume will not be editable (i.e. any images or other graphics).

Q: I had my resume created by Resume Spark in the past and I need to make a small change. How much does this cost?

We will perform minor text changes to your resume at no charge. Any complex changes, such as updating graphics or overhauling a large amount of text, can be completed for a small fee (usually $5 – $10 depending on the complexity).

Q: Do you help craft resume content in addition to designing the resume?

At this point in time, Resume Spark only offers resume design services.
